Four Ways to Spend a Snow Day (Snowy Saturday ~ BAB Takeover Week December 2018)

Snowy Saturday

Hey guys! Today, for the first day of BAB Takeover Week, I will be sharing some ways you can spend your snow days! Since I don’t think I’ve ever written a post, allow me to introduce myself. I am Jingles.

So, my favorite holiday is Christmas(if you couldn’t tell by my photo) and I am so glad it’s finally December. I can’t wait to celebrate Christmas all this month. We’ve got a lot of great things planned for this month like an all Christmas/ Winter themed BAB Takeover Week and a 12 days of Christmas series! I just can’t wait! Anyway, let’s get onto the actual post today, Four ways to spend a snow day!

Hopefully you live somewhere where it snows at least once a year.  Where we live, it usually snows once or twice a year, but it doesn’t stick(sadly). Anyway, I still thought of four fun ways to spend your snow day!

*The first three of these photos are NOT ours. They were simply the first to come up when you google “Snow stock photos”*

Have a Snowball Fight

A fun thing to do when it snows is to have a snowball fight! If you have a lot of friends or siblings, then you can invite them outside and begin tossing snowballs at one another!

Build a Snowman

Snowmen are so cute! Plus, it’s fun to make something yourself.

Make an Igloo

Ok, igloos are really cool guys. To build them you have to make bricks out of snow and arrange them into a building. You can actually go inside! It’s so cool.

Stay In

Sometimes, nothing beats staying inside on a frigid day! When it gets that cold, it’s best to stay in your pajamas, cuddle up with a blanket and watch a good movie or read a good book. This also works on days where it isn’t snowing, but raining instead.

What did you think of this post? What to you normally do on a snow day?

  1. I have eight siblings, who I would love to have a snow ball fight with. 💛💛💛 Too bad it only snows like, once a year, and it’s not even that much snow! And most of my older siblings are in college, so when it snows I really can’t play with them.😢😢😢
