Hey guys! Recently, my family went to Universal, and while I don’t have too many pictures of the bears, I thought you might still enjoy. I did take Cali and Sparkles, but since we were only there three full days, I didn’t end up taking them to the park. Maybe next time!
The first half of these pictures were taken with my DSLR, but I did take some with my phone too. That means it took a lot of editing to make them look good. Also, the photos aren’t completely in order, but I think it will be okay.
The first day was mostly just us driving. We also met up with some of my parents’ friends who now live in Florida. We had dinner with them.
It rained a lot after that. I got some semi-cool pictures in the car.
I love taking rainy pictures.
That night, we got to our hotel(more on that later,) and pretty much just went to sleep.
The next morning, we went to the grocery store, and the Character Warehouse(no great deals this time:() Then, we headed over to Islands of Adventure.
We began our day in Seuss Landing.
It’s such a whimsical little place.
We didn’t meet the Cat and the Hat, but I was able to snap a quick picture of him!
The first attraction of the day was the Seuss Trolley. It was a lot more fun than I would have thought.
After the Seuss Trolley, we walked to the Poisedon’s Fury.
Sadly, it wasn’t open, so we still haven’t went there yet.
We headed to the Harry Potter World next.
I think we headed to the other park after that and went to a show or something, but I didn’t get my camera out. It ended up being a little bit of a hassle since I’m not entirely used to my camera yet.
I did take a few pictures of the bears at the hotel.
Ok, so here’s where the pictures from my phone start. They aren’t the best quality, but they’re okay. This is the hotel we stayed at.
It had a pretty nice kitchen, but there was only one bed! They had a sofa bed too, but it was a bit…interesting.
Yeah…Also, whenever my dad opened up the bag of sheets, there were about…10 pillowcases and 0 sheets.
Anyway, this was from the second day. We went to Universal Studios.
We rode the Harry Potter ride in Diagon Alley. It was actually a lot of fun!(I hate roller coasters)
The queues are a lot more detailed then at Disney World.
The Jurassic Park area was pretty cool.
(Sorry about the quality of this picture*cringes*) We even got to see a baby dinosaur being born! It was pretty cool.
We met some family at the Chocolate Emporium that night, and btw, their milkshakes are amazing!
On Sunday, we went to Universal Studios.
I think all we did was see the Horror Makeup show, because we went to the movies after that! We went to see Captain Marvel(again:)
Anyway, so the reason why we decided to go to the movies was because we switched hotels! (It was planned before the bed thingXD) We had decided to add a day, and since we were staying at my Grandma’s timeshare, it would have been a little bit difficult to add a day at that hotel.
We ended up staying at this awesome Residence Inn!
I preferred it to the timeshare place.
After we ate at the Hotel restaurant, we headed to Islands of Adventure! My dad rode the Hulk ride, while my mom and I rode Spiderman. My dad and I also rode Storm Force Acceleration.
We decided to stay for the Hogwarts castle show.
It really wasn’t that great of a show, but I’m glad to have done it once.
The next morning we had to leave! However, we went to Universal Studios for Early access and rode some rides like Minions, Simpsons, and ET. We were also able to browse one of our favorite stores, the Spongebob store!
Before we left, we ate lunch at the hotel and watched some TV. Do you see who was on TV?
I had a lot of fun on our trip, and I can’t wait to go again! I’m already planning for our next trip!
Do you like Universal? What Harry Potter House are you in?
P.S. I also have been working on the introductory pages! I just have one left, so check them out!
Ahh, that looks like so much fun! I’ve never been to Universal Studios, but it’s in Florida? I ought to go some time!

It was! Yeah, it’s basically in the heart of Orlando. (Do you know where the amway center is? It’s near there.) It isn’t as expensive as Disney though, we got almost the highest annual pass(18 months, no blockout dates, 10% discounts, and free parking), for less than $400 per person.
