A Wizardly Wonderful Photoshoot – Camp Happy Heart 2019

Hello all! Welcome to the fantasy themed week of camp, Out of this World! I know that seems a little odd with a Harry Potter themed post, but a majoriy of this week has to do with superheroes or Star Wars, so Out of this World fits. Anyway, the campers dressed up like wizards today and I made them some wands. I hope you enjoy!

P.S. I’m not super familiar with Harry Potter, so I might not be getting the terms and stuff right. Just FYI.

Sparkles is an aspring wizard. She especially aspires to cast random spells on her brother!

This is the class today. Mischief, Sparkles, and Cali.

Sandy is the professor, so she knows a lot of different spells.

Sandy noticed that Cali wasn’t moving her wand quite right.

Uh-oh! Cali used the spell she just learned on Mischief!

Sandy and Sparkles practiced dueling.

Sandy then taught Cali how to duel with Sparkles.

Mischief got very nervous when Sandy wanted to cast a spell on him.

The class had their wands taken away.

Speaking of wands, do you want to see the different wands? This is Sandy’s.

And Sparkles’es.

Oh-no! Mischief is trying to steal Cali’s wand! (ignore my hand)

Oops! He got it!

Professor Sandy saves the day!

Sandy decides that she needs to keep Mischief at a wand’s length for the rest of the class.

Well, I hope you enjoyed!

  1. I love this post. You did a great job especially with the wands. And you got almost all of the details right. In the Harry Potter world “witch” is actually the term for a female wizard but not as in evil witches. It’s just the term they use.
