Talent Show – Camp Happy Heart 2019

Today, the campers began Camp Wrap-up! The daily event for today was a talent show. The campers noted that they’ve learned a lot from camp, and they were glad to showcase some of their new talents.

First up, we have Cloud the magician and his assistant, Rudy! (Cloud hasn’t picked a cool name yet, so let me know any suggestions you have!)

“OK, I will be doing one magic trick(for the sake of time). Rudy, get behind the curtain. I’m going to make you disappear!” Cloud announced.

“Um, for the record, I never agreed to this,” Rudy reluctantly agreed.

As Rudy stepped behind the curtain, Cloud tapped his wand against it and said the magic word, “cloudisamazing”

“Ta-da!” Cloud showed off how nothing was behind the curtain. “And now, Rudy will reappear from the other side of the stage.

*crickets*

“Um…” Cloud said, before quickly running off stage. (No one has seen Rudy yet…)

For our next act, we have a play! Chip will be the narrator.

“There once were three pigs, each one needing to build a house.”

“The first pig decided to build herself a shack out of some sticks. She was very proud of herself.”

“Suddenly, the big, bad wolf came.”

“He huffed and puffed, and blew her house down.”

“The next little pig built her house out of paper. She was also proud of herself.”

“However, when the wolf arrived, her house was no match for his huffs and puffs.”

“The third pig built her house from the camp tent.”

“When the wolf arrived, it took a lot of huffing and puffing.”

“The other two pigs ran for shelter in the third pig’s house.”

“The wolf huffed, and he puffed,”

“But eventually, he gave up and took a nap.”

The cast took a bow. Let’s give them some applause guys!

Next up, is Sandy, modeling a dress that she made during Fashion week.

Gracie is showcasing a lovely treat she’s made.

It looks delicious to me.

Battle of the Bear Bands was a very fun week, and it looks like Claire has decided to sing a song, accompanied by Sparkles on the guitar. They will be singing Cruel Summer, off of Taylor Swift’s new album, Lover!

Fever dream high in the middle of the night, you know that I caught it…

Candy dazzled the crowd with a lovely dance number.

For the finale, it looks like we have another singer and guitar duo! Cali will be singing Paper Rings off of Lover as well.
