Hey guys! Welcome to Baking with Berry! It’s been a little while since our last Baking with Berry, so for those of you who don’t know me, I’m Berry! I love to bake, so obviously Baking with Berry is about food! Today, I have a special guest star…

Mrs. Periwinkle Stone! Peri is one of my greatest friends, and I helped her with Camp Happy Heart, a summer project of some of the moms and aunts of Build a Bears Furever. I was the cook!
Anyway, Periwinkle Stone has 7 kids, and she’s a great mom, and just overall a great person. She’s a great chef, so I’m happy to have her help me out.

In honor of Halloween coming up this month, we’re going to be sharing some ideas of what to give out for Halloween. Ready? Let’s get started!

Candy
P: This one’s a classic, so we have to include this on the list. Plus, it’s really easy for any busy person.

Fruit
B: Fruit isn’t the tastiest, but it is pretty healthy. It’s a nice change from Candy, and similar to the candy, it’s really easy to give out.

Cupcakes
P: If you don’t have a whole lot of trick-or-treaters, it could be really nice to treat them to a cupcake.

B: If you want something a little healthier than a cupcake, but still tasty, you can make some muffins. I even have a recipe for you guys!

P: Small toys would be great for kids! I know my kids would love to get some small toys while trick-or-treating.

B: Cookies! I think cookies are pretty easy to make a lot of, so they would be a good option for Halloween.

P: I think veggies would be a good thing to give out. Although, I believe the kids wouldn’t care for it much.

B: This is pretty lame, but you can give out toothbrushes. It is practical, but it’s probably not something kids would like.

P: A really good idea I had is books! You can give out some short books, I bet both parents and children will appreciate this!
Ok, well there we go! Those are some options to give out for Halloween. What do you give out for Halloween?

Cute post, Berry. Normally I just give out candy but these are some great ideas, too.
