Hello friends! I was nominated (in a way…) for this tag, and I thought it fit perfectly for the 25 Days of Christmas series! Can you believe that Christmas is in less than a week? Yikes, I’d better make some presents…
THE RULES
1. This is an anonymous tag. DO NOT link back to the creator or whoever tagged you–the goal of this tag is to spread Christmas spirit anonymously. Consider it a sort of ‘pay it forward’–you don’t know who started it, but you’re there to continue it. You can say thank you, of course, in the comments of whoever tagged you, but it’s all very ‘secret santa’ when you create your post.
2. Answer the copy-and-paste-able questions (GIFs, photos, song lyrics, poem extracts…are all welcome).
3. Share one thing Christmas taught you.
4. Tag as many people as you can think to help spread Christmas cheer around the blogosphere
What is your favourite Christmas bible verse?
Oof, there are so many! I think I like the classic Luke 2(the whole chapter really)

What is your favourite Christmas carol?
Ugh, just one? I think I’ll have to go with…Silent Night or Joy to the World.
Let every heart prepare him room,
What gets you in the holiday mood?
I think just listening to Christmas music. Also, once the decorations are put up.

What are three traditions your family has for Christmas?
We actually don’t have a whole lot of traditions, but we do put up our tree on Black Friday, open presents on Christmas Eve(some, at least) and the past couple years, we went to Orlando around Christmas!

What’s your favourite part of Christmas?
Celebrating Jesus’s birth, and just having everyone being more thoughtful and kind.

What do you think people should do more often that would make Christmas more magical?
Make handmade gifts instead of just buying them in the store. Store-bought gifts are wonderful, but handmade gifts are just a touch more magical.
What are some of your favourite Christmas books?
We typically don’t read a lot of books around Christmas, but I’ll pick the Bible, and this new one we’ve been reading for a little while called The Christ Centered Christmas.
Have you ever written a ‘from Santa Claus’ letter to anyone?
Um, nope!

What Christmas has taught me:
I feel like Christmas has helped me to really focus on Christ at least for a couple months. Also, it taught me that sometimes it’s better to give gifts than receive them. There is so much I could say, but I think I’ll stop there.
Okay, so as a special Christmas present to anyone reading this, you’re nominated for this tag! Just follow the rules, and here’s a set of questions:
