It’s Returning…

Can you guys guess what I’m about to announce?

Camp Happy Heart is returning summer 2020!

I am so, so excited for this. Like, literally, I cannot wait.

What is Camp Happy Heart?

Last year, I came up with a summer camp that consisted of crafts, photostories, photoshoots, and shows. There was a fun theme for each week, and it lasted for about 3 months. If you want to learn more, please check out the CHH page.

So yeah, I’m continuing it into 2020. But I’ll be making some changes…

First of all, I won’t be posting every day for 3 months. No, just…no. That was such a huge expectation of myself, and I know I couldn’t do it this year.

Instead, Camp Happy Heart will be in June and July, with 4-5 posts a week. That sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Also, there wasn’t a ton of participation last year. I mean, there was definitely some, but I would like for there to be some more. So, I’ve come up with a little something that I think will help out a lot with that…

Each week, there will be 5 posts(some weeks may only have 4 though…)

The 5 posts are…

• A Craft
• A Photostory(you guys wanted more of an ongoing story this year)
• A Photoshoot
• A Show

A Guest Post!

Yeah, I’m wanting one of you guys to write a post each week! That’s part of why I’m announcing this now, so you guys have plenty of time to sign up and write a post.

Speaking of the different weeks, do you guys want to go ahead and hear the themes for each week?

Some of these names are working titles, but I’ll go ahead and share anyway…

As you can see, I brought back some of the fan favorite weeks of last year(band week, fairytale week…)! Also, if you guys have any title ideas, comment them below and I might use them!

Also, week 6 is blank. Do you guys want to know why?

It’s because one of YOU will pick the theme that week. Yep! You guys can give me your ideas for a theme in the comments, and I will pick my favorite!

Guest Post Sign-Ups

The guest post sign-ups start today! Spread the word, I’d like to get someone for each week!

How to sign up:

Comment below and tell me which week(s) you want to do a guest post for. You also must tell me if you’ll be using stuffed animals or AG dolls. If you have a blog, make sure to leave a link so I can see what type of posts you make. However, even if you don’t have a blog, you can still enter.

Example:

Hi, I’m Diamond from buildabearsfurever.wordpress.com, and I’d like to sign up for Band Week! I will be using stuffed animals.

Then, you’ll need to write your guest post before the end of the week you signed up for. It’s pretty simple really. Your post can be anything you want(craft, photostory, photoshoot, etc.) as long as it fits with the theme of the week.

Guest post slots are on a first come, first serve basis, so if you really want a particular week, make sure to sign up quick!

Please spread the word! If you have any friends or bloggers that you know who love stuffed animals, dolls, or crafts, share this with them! I’m really looking forward to this summer!

One last thing, I’m designing a new logo this year! Only problem? I can’t decide which one I like best. Here are 3 options…
