Hello friends! Today, I’m going to be answering the questions from my Q&A that I announced in my November post. I hope you enjoy!
What’s your favourite thing about writing on BABF?
I like a few things about writing on BABF. I don’t do it too often, but I like sharing some of my maternal wisdom with you all. I also enjoy blogging because it gives me something to bond with my kids over.
Your favourite food?
Hmmm, there are so many to choose from! I think I’ll go with…chicken fingers? But honestly I feel like that changes day to day.
I like pink a lot. But I honestly feel kind of bad choosing one over the other. There are so many lovely colors.
How would you describe your perfect night out (despite COVID regulations)?
Even before COVID I didn’t get out all that much. That’s what being a mom is like…
However, I do really like having girls’ nights with my sisters and sisters-in-law. We normally go to the spa, then get something to eat and shop for a bit. It’s very relaxing.
What is your hobby?
Being a mother, I sacrifice a lot of my time to my children. I don’t have a lot of hobbies due to this. However, I’ve always loved surfing. One of my more recent hobbies would be reading, because that’s a good thing to do after my kids go to bed.
How do you resolve conflicts?
I am in no means an expert on resolving conflicts. However having seven kids, I have definitely had a lot of experience in resolving conficts! I normally try to figure out what the problem is and figure out a compromise. I find that once you de-escalate the situation, problems are a lot simpler.
And which is your favourite book?
Ooh, great question! I read a lot of non-fiction and fiction books that I love, but for an absolute favorite, I have to pick my scriptures!
-what is your favorite thing to cook/bake?
I love making casseroles because of how easy they are.
-favorite childhood memory?
Oh, I don’t know if I could choose! I loved hanging out with my friends and surfing with them and all. I feel very lucky because my childhood group of friends are my family now!
-what’s your favorite book genre?
Out of all genres, I have to say non-fiction. My kids tease me because it’s boring, but I love learning.
-do you like carnivals?
I haven’t been to a lot of them, but sure!
Those were lovely questions! I really enjoyed answering them.
