The Pecan Bros Photoshoot

It feels like it’s been way too long since our last photoshoot here, eh? Sure I’ve done a couple for BABTW or BABAD, but that’s not the same really. Anyway, the last time I did a proper photoshoot was before Christmas, so I figured it’s high time to do another one.

Let’s get started!

I had plenty of choices for this one, believe me! Cam and Stella haven’t had a photoshoot yet, nor has Oswald. And then there’s always ones I have already taken a photoshoot of! But, ultimately, I decided to go with Waffle and Theo. These two are still pretty new, and I feel like I’ve barely featured them!

In case you missed their introductory post, check it out here! They haven’t really been featured that much other than that post.

This photoshoot was really hard for me to set the scene, but eventually, I decided to highlight both of their hobbies. Obviously we started out in the kitchen for Waffle.

I got this mini KitchenAid last year, right before the pandemic hit. I don’t really know why, but I’ve just always wanted a mini KitchenAid. It makes a great prop.

Theo doesn’t like baking, so he chooses to play on his Nintendo DS instead. I always wanted a Nintendo DS growing up, and to be honest, I’m still a little sad that I never got one.

Waffle is being extra careful getting his bread out of the oven. He doesn’t want to burn himself. Unlike me, because I seem to burn myself almost every time I bake.

Even though Theo didn’t help any, Waffle decided to be nice and share. Like, the opposite of The Little Red Hen.

Yum! These two boys love food so much. I imagine that’s how most boys are, though it’s not like I would know.

After the bread was consumed, the pair began to play the Xbox. That was Theo’s natural habitat!

Theo won! He threw his controller victoriously in the air in celebration.

Luckily, Waffle doesn’t have any hard feelings. He’s a good sport.

We return to the kitchen for some experiments in photography.

All these filters are directly from my camera. I think this one is called Color Pop or something.

I kinda like this one!

This one’s kinda cool! It’s a photo illustration. If I ever publish my Stone stories, I’ll have to use this feature! (I’m kidding by the way)

I really like this washed out filter. It fits Waffle well!

I leave you with this photo of Theo! Anyway, I have a lot more ideas for photoshoots, so keep an eye out for more! And I definitely need to give some of my newer bears some more attention here on the blog.

Exciting things coming in April! And DON’T forget to enter our Photostory Contest! This is your last chance, but if I don’t get one or two more entries, I might extend the deadline.
