(Before we get into today’s post, I updated the blog design! Feel free to let me know if anything is glitchy, and also please update my button!)
Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming!
It has recently come to my attention that the finale of Aftershock Season One was…unsatisfactory. While I tried so hard not to leave a cliffhanger…apparently you guys still think there was one!
I’m not giving you guys season two until August. Sorry. But, I do have an exciting post for all you Aftershock fans!
That’s right, an Aftershock preview!
I have finished the first draft of season two. Now before you start begging me to post it now, it isn’t edited yet, and I feel it needs it. Also, I still need to take the photos! I’m going to do that after Camp.
Also, there will be three seasons of Aftershock! Two seasons just aren’t enough. My goal is to do season two in August – December, and maybe season three in early 2022. And I have a few more REALLY exciting photo series ideas, so don’t be too sad when Aftershock ends!
To compensate for the cliffhanger I left you with, I’ve put together a post filled with sneak peeks and fun graphics! I hope this will tide you over until August.
Aftershock Season Two Summary
Lauren is learning about herself and the world around her. When an unexpected super appears on a mission, loyalties will be tested and Lauren may be forced to leave her team-her family.
I know it’s short, but I don’t want to spoil anything!
Wanna see some graphics? I bet you do…
Here are some superhero images I made. I don’t know, but I think they’re kinda cool!
Okay, now it’s quote time! I’m going to start with quotes from season 1.
I made this based on a billboard in season two.
Oh! I have an exciting announcement. Aftershock Season Two will be multi-perspective!
See? We won’t just have Lauren’s POV this season…
Anyway, here are some non-spoilery quotes from season 2! And I’m not sharing who’s perspective they’re from…
Also, since season two is unedited, these may change slightly.
This one reminded me of a certain scene in WandaVision when I wrote it.
Hmmm, but what did Pyro do?
Ooh, this seems like one of those poignant writing prompts. I like it. But who’s it talking about?
Oooh, never going back? Wow.
Yes it is!
Aw, this one is so sad.
I can’t wait to see how you guys like season two! It’s very different than season one, but I think it’s a logical change. I can’t wait to “film” it. Also, I’m not going to make you guys wait months between episodes again. I didn’t like that schedule.
I tried hard not to have a cliffhanger at the end of the season, but I suppose there is the fact that a certain character is possibly dead that isn’t resolved in this season…
Oh, and speaking of cliffhangers, I have an absolutely tragic cliffhanger for episode 6. I cannot wait to see how you guys react to that.
Which quote was your favorite? Are you excited for season 2?
P.S. A few more announcements! Firstly, don’t forget to enter my contest! The new deadline is April 18th!
Also, I’m still doing my experiment for the month. Have fun guessing what that is until I reveal on the 30th!
Finally, Collab Week is a go! You’ll see more details very soon, but for now, here’s the schedule.
