Hello friends! It’s been a while since our last BABAD! Like, a month. I suppose that isn’t too long, but still.
The reason it’s been so long is because of Easter and Collab Week…we’ve posted every Sunday this month! Which is great, but I’m also glad things are calming down a bit.
What would you guys think if I went down to one BABAD a month after Camp?
Anyway, today Snuggly is the featured bear! Since she enjoys reading so, she wanted to share 10 of her coziest book recommendations. I’ll let her talk now.
Hi guys! I’m Snuggly, but I think Diamond already introduced me. I’m here to share 10 of my coziest books with you all!
These are in no particular order. I’ve read all of these and find them very cozy. I believe they’re all fantasy, because that’s what I enjoy most.
First up, we have Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale. This book follows Dashti, a maid, as she agrees to be locked in a tower for seven years with her master. It had such a cozy feeling, and it was like a fairytale.
Next up is Hunted by Megan Spooner. This one is set in a snowy forest, so it may be a bit chilly to read about, but it’s very cozy as well. It is a Beauty and the Beast retelling.
Mysteries are cozy, right? Long May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas certainly is! This one is about a girl who is like, 40th in line for the throne. Well, things happen and she’s suddenly queen. This is about her figuring out what happened to make her queen.
I’m kind of cheating with this one, but how could I not include a Build a Bear book on here? This is the story of my friends Hal and Holly. It’s short, but still fantastic!
You’ve probably heard of this one unless you live under a rock. In which case, hi! How’s life underneath the rock you live under?
Anyway, this is definitely a cozy book. There’s a wonderful atmosphere and it makes me really happy. Reading this series is like coming home.
Oh look! Another Beauty and the Beast retelling! This one is mainly here because I love the Twisted Tales series, but it also has some mystery!
Caraval by Stephanie Garber was another favorite of mine! It’s also very atmospheric. I definitely recommend it to any fantasy lover.
A recent favorite of mine it The Stolen Kingdom by Bethany Atazadeh! It’s an Aladdin retelling with magic.
I also have to recommend you Entwined! It wasn’t exactly one of my favorite books, but it certainly was cozy. If you enjoy the 12 Dancing Princesses fairytale, then you’ll enjoy this!
Finally, I’ll recommend The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine to you! This one is a Snow White retelling. I guess I find a lot of fairytale retellings cozy!
I sure do enjoy reading! How about you guys? Tell me about some of your favorite books in the comments!
