Petal’s Pool Photos {the post where Diamond drops a stuffie in the water}

Hello friends! As you know, today is water week. I haven’t done the most themed post this week…but it’s time to change that. I had a lot of fun with this photoshoot, but it was also my riskiest one yet…

Basically, I won’t do another one like this unless this post gets a LOT of love(likes and comments)

Enough about that. You’re here for Petal.

If you haven’t already guessed, this post will include photos of Petal chilling by the pool. Here she is relaxing in a lounge chair.

If you didn’t know, this is my first outdoor photoshoot! Like I was saying, it was risky. I don’t really like being outside, and the idea of getting all the outside germs on my bears makes me uncomfortable. Couple that with this photoshoot being right next to the pool? I was very anxious that Petal would fall in.

Yeah, she fell in. I was being really careful, but the second I took my hand away from her, a gust of wind blew by and…I’m sure you can imagine the rest.

I could’ve stopped there, and might have if I had another idea of what to do today. But I didn’t, and I’m glad. Petal was already wet, so what was the worst that could happen? She’d get more wet? Plus, I really needed to do a post today. And I actually had a lot of fun with this! She didn’t mind too much.

I like this photo! I typically try to feature one of every bear during camp, but I just couldn’t this year. Oh well. Petal’s happy that she at least gets one.

In order to get most of these shots, I had to get in the pool with Petal. It was a lot of fun, like I said.

She looks so cute!

I’m really lucky that my grandma has a pool that she lets me use. And I’m just really lucky to have my grandma. I don’t know if you’ll ever see this grandma, but I love you SO much!

Here’s a far off shot so you see exactly what I’m dealing with here. She’s so close to the edge!

I suppose it’s a good thing I didn’t drop my phone in the pool. I normally use my DSLR, but I definitely didn’t want to mess that up. I don’t think the quality is too much worse.

You can definitely tell she’s wet. I just…hope she dries okay.

This is a long photoshoot…like I said, I was having fun!

I like this photo a lot.

Despite Petal’s incident…this wasn’t a bad photoshoot! Depending on your feedback, I may do another outdoor photoshoot in the future.
