Camp Happy Heart Talent Show

Hello friends! Welcome to our Camp Happy Heart Talent show! I’m your host, Summer!

Our first participant is Sandy. Look at this lovely painting she’s created!

Next up, we have Cam performing push-ups. How many can he do?

Woah, 35! That’s pretty good Cam!

Here’s this delicious pastry Waffle baked. I tried some myself, and it truly was delicious!

Gracie will be hitting the ball with her paddle! That’s pretty great!

Stella will be sharing words to describe camp.

“audacious – extremely bold or daring”

“boisterous – noisily jolly or rowdy”

“effervesce – to show enthusiasm, excitement, liveliness, etc.:”

“mirthful – joyous; cheerful; jolly; merry:”

“jocular – suited to joking or jesting”

“balmy – mild and refreshing;”

“jollification – jolly merrymaking;”

“gratification –  great satisfaction”

Our next performance will be Chip the magician and his lovely assistant Cherry!

“Pick a card, any card,”

“Show the audience, but don’t show me.”

“Put the card back in the deck.”

“Now I will shuffle the deck. There’s no way for me to know what your card was.”

“Ta-da! Was this your card?”

Cherry nods.

“For my next trick, I will be duplicating my lovely assistant!”

“Abracadabra!”

“Ta-da! Cherry has now been cloned!”

Take a bow everyone! That was fantastic!

Sparkles will be tap dancing! Look at her!

Claire will be performing an ode to Camp Happy Heart!

“With fun, friends and love
Did you fill my summer,
Dear, I wouldn’t choose another.

Memories have been etched
Friendships gained
And comrades met.
Many a pranks did we pull
And finishing lines, we ran past together hand in hand.

Now Camp draws to an end,
With a heavy heart do we bid farewell
Only to whisper,
“See you next year, friend dear.””

Petal will now perform a guitar rendition of The Entertainer!

Rudy is demonstrating how quickly he can run. Great job Rudy!

Woohoo! Go Oswald! Look at him juggle!

Cali and Candy will be singing Part of Your World.

Theo will be performing a backflip!

Our final act will be a skit!

Mischief walks into the room, loudly smacking his gum.

“This gum is getting old!” he announced, sticking his gum to the arm of the chair.

Cloud sits on the chair.

“Oh no!”

He rips his hand from the chair, gum sticking to his fur.

“Ewww,” he says, wiping the gum on the seat of the chair.

An unsuspecting Swirl sits in the chair.

“Oh no, EW EW EW!” Swirl wipes the gum onto the floor.

Tye walked by, unaware of the gum he was about to step on.

“Ugh,” Tye complained. “Who would put gum on the floor?”

“I’ll put it on the arm of the chair to be out of people’s way.”

Mischief returned to the chair. “Oh boy! My gum!”

Mischief pops the gum back into his mouth and blows a big bubble.

*applause*
