Swirl’s Secret Santa

Hello friends! Today it’s time for the Small-fry’s Christmas gift exchange! This story is essentially two parts, selecting the gift and then the exchange. It follows Swirl, so enjoy! I stared at the slip of paper in my hand. “Cam Johnson,” was written on it in green ink. “What on Earth should I get for Cam?”  You see, the name on the paper was the person I had to buy a gift for. This year, we decided to do a Secret Santa gift exchange instead of getting a gift for every one of our friends.  I laughed at that idea. … Continue reading Swirl’s Secret Santa

Skipping Stones Episode 5 “Christmas Chaos”

Hello friends! Can you believe we’re already at episode five of Skipping Stones? I almost didn’t make an episode two after how much work episode one was, but I’m glad I’ve continued this series. Anyway, I wanted to make a Christmas-themed sitcom. This one is a bit shorter and simpler than the other episodes seeing as I have a tight schedule this month. It doesn’t have too much of a plot, more like funny anecdotes of Christmastime at the Stone household. Anyway, without further ado, I give you…Christmas Chaos! “I’ve got so many gifts to wrap!” Mommy looks over at … Continue reading Skipping Stones Episode 5 “Christmas Chaos”

Hot Cocoa Party

Hello friends! Happy Monday! If I was doing my normal Blogmas posts we’d be halfway done by now. But we’re doing 31 days! So we’ve still got 18 days left! Today, the Small-Fry girls had a hot cocoa party. It was Cherie’s idea, so she’s taking care of all the hostess duties. Look at the hot cocoa station she made. There’s hot cocoa, mugs, toppings, and cookies! Sandy is a little disappointed that she isn’t in charge. The other Stone girls are just excited for hot cocoa. Oh, look! The first guest is arriving. “Welcome to our party! Feel free … Continue reading Hot Cocoa Party

Stone Family Portraits {Christmas Edition}

Hello friends! Today’s post was really fun to make. The Stone family took family portraits. They do this nearly every Christmas. I think they turned out really cute! They started out with a shot of everyone. Then we have a photo of all the kids. Mommy and Daddy Stone. The boys. Lil Choc loves his sons. The five Stone girls. Mommy loves her daughters. Time for the props! Ooh, is that mistletoe? Lil Choc uses this opportunity to give his wife a sweet kiss on the cheek. “Ew!” Cloud gags. Time for individual photos! Here’s Lil Choc. Periwinkle. Chip Sandy … Continue reading Stone Family Portraits {Christmas Edition}

Trim up the Tree

Hello friends! It’s the last day of Thanksgiving week…which means it’s time to get into the Christmas Spirit! I wrote this photostory in a very similar style to the original Stone stories that I wrote. It was fun to return to my writing roots. Anyway, this is the story of the Stone family decorating for Christmas. Enjoy! (Cali’s POV) Cali tapped her foot along the floor. It was Saturday, two days after Thanksgiving. Normally, the Stone family put up their decorations for Christmas on Black Friday. And yet, there were no adornments of Holiday cheer that could be found. No … Continue reading Trim up the Tree

Build a Bears Furever’s 4th Annual Halloween Fashion Show!

Hello friends! Can you believe it’s our fourth Halloween fashion show? I can’t! The bears had a lot of fun dressing up this year! They can’t wait to model their costumes for you all. First up, we have our first BAB, Brownie! She’s wearing the first-ever Halloween costume for the BABs! She’s dressed as a talk show host. I don’t really know why I came up with this, but I suppose it was genius to my 10 year old brain. Another costume from the inaugural Halloween Fashion show is this Miss America costume! It obviously used a different dress(was Rose … Continue reading Build a Bears Furever’s 4th Annual Halloween Fashion Show!

L’Etudiant Etranger Episode Three

Hello friends! I hope you guys are ready for another episode of L’Etudiant Etranger! In this episode, Gisselle will meet the whole Stone crew! Episode One Episode Two “We’re gonna be late!” Rudy whined.  He was eager to get to his cousins’  house, and while I was also looking forward to it, I knew the importance of first impressions. That’s why I had spent an hour fixing myself up, while Rudy had simply showered and thrown on a t-shirt. But see, Rudy already knew these people. They knew him, so it didn’t matter what he wore today. But for me, … Continue reading L’Etudiant Etranger Episode Three

Skipping Stones Episode 1 “Fame, Fortune, and Love?”

Hello friends! I am beyond excited to share today’s post with you! Lots of blood, sweat, and tears went into this post. I really wanted to get this post up in August, but it’s okay. I think it turned out amazing anyway. Remember how I mentioned a BAB sitcom back in May? It’s finally here! This pilot episode is a celebration of BABF reaching 300 followers. And…since we’re at about 350, let’s just call it an early celebration of 400. (if we ever get there) Anyway, I think this episode is something I can be proud of. My early readers … Continue reading Skipping Stones Episode 1 “Fame, Fortune, and Love?”

Adventures at Grandma’s House {Summer 2021}

Hello friends! So, I’ve been at my grandma’s house for the months of July and August! I of course brought the bears and took photos of them. (You may have noticed different backgrounds in some of my posts. This is why!) Anyway, here are the photos I took of them! As you can see, we had a blast. Here was where the bears stayed while I was at Grandma’s! On top of the dresser. As you can see, I brought Stella, Petal, Sandy, Mischief, Cherry, Cloud, Sparkles, and Chip. My grandma suggested that I make a small quilt for my … Continue reading Adventures at Grandma’s House {Summer 2021}
