Skipping Stones Episode 6 “Dances and Disorder”

Hello friends! It’s been a while since our last Skipping Stones episode, so I’m really excited to share the next one! This one is set at Camp and it’s pretty fun…enjoy! Campers gather around the schedule board. Sandy squeals in delight. Cloud and Mischief peek around the bears crowding the board. “What is it?” Mischief asks, not wanting to miss out on the excitement. “What’s going on?” Sandy steps away from in front of the board and points. “On Friday, there’s a camp dance! But only for the older campers. “See where it says ‘incoming middle schoolers and up’? That … Continue reading Skipping Stones Episode 6 “Dances and Disorder”

The Valentine’s Party

Hello friends! Happy Valentine’s Day! Want to see a fun party with the Small-fries? I sure do! (also for some reason this post literally took an entire day to make so please like it) Here’s a photo of the room before any party guests arrived. The refreshment table. There’s also this lovely corner filled with flowers and a guitar. Oh look! The first guests are arriving. The Caramel siblings snap a quick photo together. They’re all dressed up for the occasion. Chip and Sandy rush to greet them. “We’re your host and hostess!” Sandy smiles. “Not by choice…” Chip mutters. … Continue reading The Valentine’s Party

Winter Bearlympic Opening Ceremony

The Small-Frys have worked really hard to make this opening ceremony special for you all, so I hope you enjoy. To kick off the ceremonies, a figure skater emerges onto the rink. She gracefully glides over the ice. Let’s see what shape she made! Oh! It’s a lovely heart! Now another figure skater appears. Let’s kick off the 2022 Bearlympics! Now, two of our athletes will be singing the national anthem from their … Continue reading Winter Bearlympic Opening Ceremony

A Cozy Christmas Pajama Photoshoot

Hello friends! I’m not even going to say how many days are left until Christmas…it’s starting to stress me out… Today we have a cozy photoshoot of the Stones all dressed in their matching Christmas PJs. I think it turned out really cute, so let’s get started! First up, we have this nice group shot. Everyone looks so calm here! Then, we decided to get individual shots of all the kids. Chip went first, seeing as he’s the oldest. Sandy. Cherie. Cherry. Of course, these two had to get a photo together! That’s What Christmas is All About ~ Collab with Liz

Hello friends! The calendar…it keeps changing days on me. Christmas is in…less than five days? That doesn’t seem right. How about…Christmas is in 369 days. There we go! That sounds a lot better. Anyway, for today’s post, I’m collaborating with a really awesome blogger named Liz …you may have heard of her. (And if not…I just want to um…talk) She’s super sweet and sarcastic. Her posts crack me up. Currently, she’s hosting Above the Snow(her version of Blogmas) Check it out! Anyway, she wrote today’s post and I added the photos. I think it turned out really cool! “WHAT?!” I … Continue reading That’s What Christmas is All About ~ Collab with Liz

Swirl’s Secret Santa

Hello friends! Today it’s time for the Small-fry’s Christmas gift exchange! This story is essentially two parts, selecting the gift and then the exchange. It follows Swirl, so enjoy! I stared at the slip of paper in my hand. “Cam Johnson,” was written on it in green ink. “What on Earth should I get for Cam?”  You see, the name on the paper was the person I had to buy a gift for. This year, we decided to do a Secret Santa gift exchange instead of getting a gift for every one of our friends.  I laughed at that idea. … Continue reading Swirl’s Secret Santa

Skipping Stones Episode 5 “Christmas Chaos”

Hello friends! Can you believe we’re already at episode five of Skipping Stones? I almost didn’t make an episode two after how much work episode one was, but I’m glad I’ve continued this series. Anyway, I wanted to make a Christmas-themed sitcom. This one is a bit shorter and simpler than the other episodes seeing as I have a tight schedule this month. It doesn’t have too much of a plot, more like funny anecdotes of Christmastime at the Stone household. Anyway, without further ado, I give you…Christmas Chaos! “I’ve got so many gifts to wrap!” Mommy looks over at … Continue reading Skipping Stones Episode 5 “Christmas Chaos”

Stone Family Portraits {Christmas Edition}

Hello friends! Today’s post was really fun to make. The Stone family took family portraits. They do this nearly every Christmas. I think they turned out really cute! They started out with a shot of everyone. Then we have a photo of all the kids. Mommy and Daddy Stone. The boys. Lil Choc loves his sons. The five Stone girls. Mommy loves her daughters. Time for the props! Ooh, is that mistletoe? Lil Choc uses this opportunity to give his wife a sweet kiss on the cheek. “Ew!” Cloud gags. Time for individual photos! Here’s Lil Choc. Periwinkle. Chip Sandy … Continue reading Stone Family Portraits {Christmas Edition}

Trim up the Tree

Hello friends! It’s the last day of Thanksgiving week…which means it’s time to get into the Christmas Spirit! I wrote this photostory in a very similar style to the original Stone stories that I wrote. It was fun to return to my writing roots. Anyway, this is the story of the Stone family decorating for Christmas. Enjoy! (Cali’s POV) Cali tapped her foot along the floor. It was Saturday, two days after Thanksgiving. Normally, the Stone family put up their decorations for Christmas on Black Friday. And yet, there were no adornments of Holiday cheer that could be found. No … Continue reading Trim up the Tree
