Back to School Portraits 2022

Hello friends! Can you believe the 2022 school year is already in full swing? I can’t! Anyway, the school-aged Build-A-Bears got together to take school photos. I always love doing this traditional post. I hope you like seeing these pictures! Here’s a picture of the whole group. We have quite a big group this year! Our only tenth grader in the bunch, Gisselle. The sixth grade class looks very similar to last year’s class. I think that the fifth grade is the largest. Azura is a new addition this year! Our fourth grade. Finally, our third grade class. Alright, now … Continue reading Back to School Portraits 2022

Make Clothes With Me

Hello friends! Today I’m going to be making some clothes to kick off Fashion Week! This isn’t really a tutorial, but I thought you might like to see the bears get some new clothes. Firstly, here are my supplies. I didn’t end up using all of them. But anyway, I bought the bee socks and patriotic scarf from Dollar Tree with the intention of making clothes for this post. The other pieces are pajama pants that have been very worn out and are no longer wearable. Firstly, I used the bee socks to make a dress for Gracie. It looks … Continue reading Make Clothes With Me

Warmth in Winter ~ A Mischief and Sparkles Photostory

Hello friends! I’ve been in a bit of a blogging rut lately. I’m trying to get the last season of Aftershock ready for you guys, but I just haven’t had the motivation to work on it lately. It will come when it comes… Anyway, I never really planned out my content for January aside from “Aftershock.” As you can see…we’re nearly done with January and I haven’t even written the darn thing. I’ll still have to edit the whole season and take photos before I can get the first episode up. I also wanted to do a blog party when … Continue reading Warmth in Winter ~ A Mischief and Sparkles Photostory

A Mistletoe Wish for Christmas ~ A Hallmark Parody

Hello friends! We’re officially in the week of Christmas…guys, 5 days! Anyway, I’ve had this idea for a while. Like at least August. It was one of the things I was most excited about for the 31 days of Christmas!(Aside from Naughty and Nice) I’m really excited to share this with you all! Basically, it’s the BABs take on a Hallmark movie. Due to the nature of a Hallmark movie, this isn’t completely canon in the BAB universe. It’s got the same characters you all know and love though! Special shoutout to Issabelle and Maggie for reading through this and … Continue reading A Mistletoe Wish for Christmas ~ A Hallmark Parody

Swirl’s Secret Santa

Hello friends! Today it’s time for the Small-fry’s Christmas gift exchange! This story is essentially two parts, selecting the gift and then the exchange. It follows Swirl, so enjoy! I stared at the slip of paper in my hand. “Cam Johnson,” was written on it in green ink. “What on Earth should I get for Cam?”  You see, the name on the paper was the person I had to buy a gift for. This year, we decided to do a Secret Santa gift exchange instead of getting a gift for every one of our friends.  I laughed at that idea. … Continue reading Swirl’s Secret Santa

Skipping Stones Episode 5 “Christmas Chaos”

Hello friends! Can you believe we’re already at episode five of Skipping Stones? I almost didn’t make an episode two after how much work episode one was, but I’m glad I’ve continued this series. Anyway, I wanted to make a Christmas-themed sitcom. This one is a bit shorter and simpler than the other episodes seeing as I have a tight schedule this month. It doesn’t have too much of a plot, more like funny anecdotes of Christmastime at the Stone household. Anyway, without further ado, I give you…Christmas Chaos! “I’ve got so many gifts to wrap!” Mommy looks over at … Continue reading Skipping Stones Episode 5 “Christmas Chaos”

Skipping Stones Episode 3 “Turkeys and Proposals Pt. 1”

Alright, without further ado, I present to you Skipping Stones! Kids scream as the remote changes the TV back and forth from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to Football pregames. Mommy Stone frantically checks the refrigerator for more mayonnaise. A car pulls up – a few hours too early. The Stone household erupts into utter and complete chaos. It’s Thanksgiving Day. “You know…I didn’t have chaos on my … Continue reading Skipping Stones Episode 3 “Turkeys and Proposals Pt. 1”

Build a Bears Furever’s 4th Annual Halloween Fashion Show!

Hello friends! Can you believe it’s our fourth Halloween fashion show? I can’t! The bears had a lot of fun dressing up this year! They can’t wait to model their costumes for you all. First up, we have our first BAB, Brownie! She’s wearing the first-ever Halloween costume for the BABs! She’s dressed as a talk show host. I don’t really know why I came up with this, but I suppose it was genius to my 10 year old brain. Another costume from the inaugural Halloween Fashion show is this Miss America costume! It obviously used a different dress(was Rose … Continue reading Build a Bears Furever’s 4th Annual Halloween Fashion Show!
